Street Signs in Naples

There are no useful street signs of ANY kind in Naples and I never really realized how insane that is until yesterday when I was trying to give directions to friend.
My directions were something like this;
Cross the "Empty Piazza"
Go through the "Lemon Squeeze"
Take the third exit on the "Tacky Circle"
Turn left at the "Crazy T"
Hello, is this crazy or what? The funny thing was that she knew exactly what I was talking about! How is that possible? I guess necessity really is the mother of invention.
