Yesterday someone asked me if I was pregnant- whaaaa! I know she didn't mean to offend me (because when I said no she went three shades of red) but it was hurtful just the same. At first I tried to convince myself that her question had something to do with my having a healthy pregnant lady sort of "glow". But in the end I decided it must have had more to do with the 5 mini snickers bars I confiscated from the boys and then ate myself on Halloween night.
Anyway, I took a long hard look at myself in the mirror last night and decided that I really don't feel the way I look. What I see in the mirror... and how I see myself are two completely different things. And to be honest, I am a little confused about which one is really me!

The beautiful one is the real you. I am sure this upset you because I know you. Please remember who you are. Do not give your power over to someone who made a mistake. She is probably still embarrassed about and regretting it. She was probably just hoping you were pregnant because she knows you want to be so badly.
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND YOU ARE JUST RIGHT. AND I AM NOT SAYING THAT BECAUSE I AM YOUR MOTHER. I AM SAYING IT BECAUSE IT IS THE TRUTH AND I WOULDN'T LIE TO YOU!
So let it roll right off, Honey!

Laura. I think it is something you should pray about. You are an amazing person. You are a beautiful person. You are a smart person.
